I think I have successfuly uploaded a picture of what I wore to my 36th high school reunion bar-b-que.
I think I am a rectangle. Correct? I'm pretty much flat on all sides.
My top is from Ann Taylor and the capri's are David Khann. They have a cuff at the bottom which I think you will say draws attention too far down or possibly they hit at the wrong part of my leg.

The outfit is really cute! I think you might be an inverted triangle, or be a rectangle that tends toward an inverted triangle, but it could just be the shirt. Do you wear a larger size on top than on bottom?

I think the capri's are too long. They should hit at the curviest part of your calf, and it looks like yours hit under your calf muscle. I would maybe hem them 2 or 3 inches?

Wow, you're almost my mom's age but you look like my sister. Color me green with envy. I would love to have long slim limbs like that.

The top is very cute, love the color on you. I think your body was basically built for clamdiggers. I don't favor the wider leg opening on those capris though. I think they just look awkward on all body types.

I would agree you're a rectangle. Your shoulders don't really look very wide to me so I don't think you're an inverted triangle.

I'd also say you are a rectangle. I love that top, and the capris could be a bit shorter and have a more narrow leg opening. And your body looks amazing!

Yes I do work out 1 hour, 3 times a week doing half cardio, half weights, crunches, etc.
Also thankyou for the advice on the capri style. I really appreciate your kind honesty.
I keep adding up the years on my fingers because I can't believe it's been 36 years since graduation from high school. I graduated in '72. My children are in their 30's.

You are indeed rectangular. Well done for concluding that yourself. The top looks comfy and casual. Super colour and a nice style on you. Get yourself a pair of clamdiggers from J Crew. Your current pair of capris does not do your stunning body justice. You are a hottie!

San, they're called Matchsticks. There is a cropped version and a full length version. You would look great in both!

They run a little bigger than J. Crew's other bottoms do on me. I usually wear a 29 in their numbered bottoms, and the 28s fit great on me. I love these!

San, when I first opened the link, I had not read everyone's responses. I thought I remembered you introducing yourself and saying you were in you're earl 50's. I thought I had you mixed up with someone else when I saw your photo. You look fantastic!

We should have a thread where we each get to identify ourselves and maybe include a photo (if the person wants to). This way when someone with a deficient memory (like me) forgets who they are talking to, we can go look it up. A YLF member directory, if you will.
