Finding the items you need at the right price

What I resisted at NHYS

Stopped by Stonestown/SF Nordstrom (it's the smaller of the two SF stores) on way home yesterday. Walked away empty handed although I considered a few things:

Michael/Michael Kors print top - http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/30.....in=related
Fabric is bamboo so it felt very soft and light. I actually have been searching for prints to fill a wardrobe gap but at $80 it seemed overpriced and not a smart buy.

Looked at the Live A Little twill/denim jackets but decided to wait - I want to stick to my weight loss goal and can live without a piece with that much structure. A knit top is more forgiving so I rationalize!

MeToo Nadia - no bronze in this store. I was going to pick up red but none in my size.
I also tried to replenish some cosmetic favorites at Bobbi Brown and Prescriptives counters and everything I wanted was out of stock.

Not my day to shop! Maybe I was not in the right mood? I thought it was better to walk away with nothing than an impulse purchase at least. Helped me stick to my plan of not buying for a bit.

Actually my dear Chris, you were at the Nordies Half Yearly Sale - not the NAS. The NAS is on 17th July :0)

Rotten luck. But that’s okay. It just means that better stuff is waiting for you. Try and have those Nadia’s ordered in? Keep us posted on your purchases. Are we going to see a picture of you? Hope so!

Aww, sorry to hear that your shopping trip was a bust. But like Angie says, I'm sure there's better stuff around the corner! Maybe at the NAS :)
