I'm out in a very small bush community - fishing is the main source of income - for work. Advice was to dress very casual and not stand out. On the other hand I still need to look presentable. Took a tiny plane and lots of luggage was left behind due to weight limits on plane load. Fortunately bag arrived today.
I've brought my Ugg Cortonas (booties only) and wore Xtra-tuffs on plane with skinnies, long cardi and warm coat. Packed two ponte skinnies, Joie cashmere tunics, a cobalt tunic, and the layered Trouvé sweater. That's all. In the last 5 minutes it's gone from clear and sunny to giant hail! But I'm by a river with belugas in it and life in a bush village is fascinating. Will post some pics when it clears up again.
