Angie's post had me thinking about what flower I would be if I was a flower. Years ago I would have said, carnation. They were and still are my favorite flower. Today at my current age, I say a gardenia. I remember them as a child and the large plant my dad had in front of the living room window. I have tried to grow them many times but the spot I picked was never correct and they died. I have finally found the correct spots that make them happy and I have four of them. Two planted by the original owner of the house 40 years ago and two I planted. I learned it take a special place for them to be happy, just like me.
