It's very feminine and floaty so i think it needs wearing with something 'tough' like you've done with the skinnies and boots. Do you have a biker waistcoat? that might also work x

Jean, I love it- so dramatic and old-fashioned (in a good way!). I agree with Loulou that pairing it with tougher items might be the way to go. If it were mine, I might try it over a LBD, with black tights and biker boots. Or tucked into a pencil skirt with a waistcoat on top, similar to how you're wearing it in the picture. Great find, is it vintage?

It's difficult to see because you have a vest, but it seems very dramatic.

I was thinking: tucked into high-waisted wide-legged trousers (and a leather jacket) or into a high-waisted pencil skirt (maybe with a wide belt?). Tough looking boots under the skirt.
Or with skinny jeans and biker boots or Dr. Martens...

Angie, it is short, not having doubts because I love the sleeves and it was thrifted. I have doubts paired with jeans. I think it might work best under a jacket with 3/4 sleeves or under my black jumper with docs? I do not look great with high waist pants or shirts tucked into skirts because of a bit if a short waist.
Do you think that might work??
