I don't mean your typical summer espadrilles or anything like that. Spedifically, I was thinking of the kind of sky high platforms that have very little difference in height betweent the front end of the front platform and the heel. Usually they don't taper at the back the way most wedge heels do, so that the base of the shoe is a solid "block". For reasons that are hard to explain, it's virtually impossible for this kind of shoe to be any pointier than a slight almond toe. So should I try peep toe and sandal versions to make the look feel less heavy? Would an almond toe work? How should I style them, and who should wear them? Most importantly, do you like this kind of shoe, and would you wear them yourself?
