What do you think about these shoes/sandals?

I'm thinking about ordering one or both of these.

I thought the sandals would be nice to wear with everything as a neutral in summer, although I'm not sure if they're going to fit, because you can't readjust the first two straps. Do you think they would work with shorts and skirts? Or do they look strange?

And for the shoes, my boho side just fell in love with them - what can I say. I love love love the color and they have them with a wider width too! I'd want to wear them with jeans and skirts. What do you think?

I'm not crazy about the sandals but I like the shoes. The sandals, at first glance, looked a little senior comfort shoe to me. (Sorry)

CocoLion, that's okay. I feared that too. But most sandals that I can wear look that way to me. I only wear flats and have wide and square feet that are hard to fit and I don't have any fab sandals at all at the moment.

The blue shoes are very cute. I think the sandals look way too dowdy for your young self, Astrid! I too have difficult feet, but I think you can settle for something prettier than that! I found an italian brand that turned out to be very comfy (plus it's quite cheap), it's called Sergiotti. They are not big, so they don't even have a website. And I'm not sure you'll be able to find them in Germany, but this is just to prove my point that there are prettier and comfier sandals out there!

By the way, Clarks don't work for me AT ALL. Had four pairs (high wedge mary janes, flat riding boots, flat mary janes and beautiful slim and delicate sandals with a very low wedge), all of them not so good in quality and quite uncomfortable. I know I'm a minority here, but just saying...

I love both, Astrid. I think the sandals will work well with the silhouettes I've seen you in most often, and the shoes are amazing!

LOVE. LOVE, LOVE the blue shoes! Hope you can get your size - they will look wonderful on you. The sandals on the other hand, seem okay, but all of the straps might make your foot seem wider and more square. I would look for something where the straps criss - crossed your foot, to minimize its width.

I really like the little shoes, but not so wild about the sandals. Are you looking for a really flat sandal? These are by the same company and are really cute.

My goodness, those blue shoes are FABULOUS, Astrid! I'm so coveting them!

Having short, wide (aka square!) fussy feet myself, I do commiserate with the sandals issue, but I do think you might want to hold on unless this is an urgent requirement. There ARE a few prettier ones out there. Yes, they may be all compromises compared to the average YLF lady's buys; BUT they are likely to make you happier than these might. I can't usefully point to brands here (though Naturalizers and Hush Puppies here have some nice ones in that price range) because I doubt we get the same ranges in India and Germany!

OTOH, they are perfectly acceptable design, a good colour and heel height, and seemingly adjustable (I find even non-adjustable straps are easier to stretch if needed than a solid plane of leather) --- not awful or anything --- so I would certainly get them if you need to fill a hole and soon!

I like the Orsino Parade. The Henderson's are cute too, but I like my oxfords with a heavier sole for some reason.

I have a hard time imagining outfits with oxfords in general, so I'll sit that one out.

As for the sandals, I wear my nude sandals with everything! In fact, I have two pairs of nude sandals, and now two pairs of nude boots for when sandals are too cold. I love the multiple straps, and I don't think the first two would be a problem - usually that is more of an issue for narrow feet.

Thanks, Lemonade! I wanted to start searching for sandals earlier this year because I have such a hard time with them. I didn't have Clarks before but I tried some before and always thought they were rather comfortable. We'll see.

Meredith, I want flat sandals, yes. They don't have to be totally flat, but I don't want a real heel. I'm not a fan of these t-straps with sandals, but thanks for the link!

Thanks, Manidipa! I don't need them now because it will be some time until it's warm enough to wear them, but I wanted to start the search early. I somehow have a hard time with sandals, don't know why.

Thanks, Rae! I'm going to try the sandals, maybe they'll work out. That was my plan too, to wear them with everything.

I've decided I'll order both, so prepare for some pics next week!
