Over the years I've had lots of conversations with friends and clients where they were focused on what they didn't like about their body type. It's in our nature to be self critical. (As a petite with short legs, I hate that it's almost impossible to find pants that hit at the right length on me and I almost always have to pay to have them altered).

So, instead of being self critical, I'd like to ask folks what do they love most about their particular body type?

Here's mine:

  • I often score really nice antique/vintage jewelry on ebay for really cheap because my wrists are very small and my ring finger is a size 4. This stuff doesn't easily fit other average sized folks so it ends up selling for way below what it's worth.
  • Designer clothing in kids sizes is waaay cheaper than the adult version. I have a Burberry Prorsum silver leather cropped motorcycle jacket that the adult version was $3500. I scored the kids version, which is identical, aftermarket with tags still attached for $300 (and even it was over $1200 new retail price, who spends that on something a kid will outgrow in a year??!!).
  • I make even the most averaged-height person feel tall when I stand next to them
  • I can fit and sleep comfortably in an airplane seat.

So how about you, ladies, what do you love and appreciate about your unique body type?
