What did AJ wear? (Mother's Day Edition)

Boy, have I missed you all these past couple of months! I'm not sure when I'll be able to spend regular time here again, but in the meantime, see if you can figure out which outfit I wore for Mother's Day.

What fabulous outfits! We've missed you!

I couldn't say wht you wore - they all look amazing. Have we seen the dress in #2 before? I don't remember it so I vote #2 although it depends a bit on what you were doing that day...

I think I remember you wore dress #1 for Easter, so that is out, and I just looked up the weather history for your city, so I'm voting #3 because it was a hot day. I don't think we've seen that dress.. gorgeous!
#4 is a gorgeous outfit as well... and I can see you sporting that for Mother's Day as well, so that is my second guess.

I totally love that first dress. Like love enough that I want it too.

Dress #2 is very pretty on you but perhaps too dressy for a mom's day event as styled in pic 2. I really like the way outfit #3 is put together. It is very interesting.

I am going to guess 3 because it looks the most MOTG to me and I suppose a family day can't be too formal (although I could be wrong). In any case these are gorgeous. The dresses in 1, 2, 3 suit you to a T. I love the grey clutch in combo with dress 2. I think this is my favorite incarnation of dress 1, but I always love that dress on you. Outfit 4 is also very fab. I love the pattern peaking out at the bottom and way to make a brooch look very modern. We miss you too, AJ!

I vote #3, the handbag makes this dress look a tad casual compared to with the gray bag in #2.

WOW! All three are killer, as Angie would say.
I love the colors of the first one, I love the "necklace" effect at the top of the first one, and the "peek a boo" floral part of the 3rd. And they all fit you so nicely!

Hi AJ, I haven't been on very much, too. So I know how you feel. I so miss being able to spend more time here. In any case, all of them are great. That dress in number 2 is so great. It's clean and fresh. I also am in awe of your layering ability in outfit 3. Sweet! I vote outfit 3 (picture 4) for Mother's Day.

I was going to guess #1, but if you wore it for Easter you may not have worn it for Mother's Day. I LOVE #2/3 but my vote is #4, which is also fab, fab, fab!!

Yes the first dress I wore on Easter so even though I accessorized it differently here, I still decided not to repeat the dress for Mother's Day.

The second dress came from Target two years ago. I luv the way the u shaped design and the a-line visually whittles the waist. Unfortuately it's a thick knit and the above-the-knee length made me hesitate wearing it to church. I have yet to wear the thrifted heels in #2 out in public. It's 3 1/2 inches and I fear looking ridiculous trying to walk in them. However, I just luv the way they look and I'm waiting until I can find a good cobbler to see if the heel can be lowered.

So that leaves #4 as the winning choice! I've worn a version of this last year

but decided to glam it up a bit more with the accessories.

That means Mo, Renata, Alecia, MaryK, Cocolion, Barabar(NC), Claudia, Jonesy, and Mac guessed correctly! I wore it to church and then to my favorite fancy pasta house for dinner.

Thunlata - No, I don't think I've shown the Target dress on YLF before. I usually wear it in late fall with black dress boots sans hoisery.

Dianthus - The colorful sheath is an Evan Picone that I found at a Jones of NY Outlet at MAJOR discount last fall. It was the last one in my size so of course we were destined to be together! : ) Here's all the ways I've actually worn it so far:

Claudia - Yes, that is my avatar full skirt layered under a black dress. (I don't think it's a shirtdress because of the shape, but it does button all the way down.) I think I saw on the interwebs somewhere a gal who used a full skirt to give her dress more volume and as I was trying that I saw how pretty the print looked peeking out and decided to leave some buttons undone. It also reminded me of some of the dresses Lucy wore in I Love Lucy. : )
