What are you looking for this season?

Hey everyone. I'm curious what y'all are looking for or excited about this season. I've realized I need a change in footwear and I think a pair of red sneakers and maybe a pair of light gray or cream sneakers should fit the bill. I'm about to see if I can find somewhere in town that carries shoes like these below.

Cool (and comfortable) rockin' boots / booties in brown or maroon;
Cropped leather jackets,
A winter coat.
Maroon pants/skinnies.

I'll need to replace some black pants but am not yet sure what I'm looking for. I'd like a new pair of BR Martin black skinnies but they are out of my size online.

I just got rid of tons of unworn work pants that were too short or too unflattering and haven't been worn for ages. So now I'm on the lookout for work pants that fit.

A tailored suit.

Emerald green oxfords or ankle boots (an ongoing quest).

Booties and boots! I have ordered three pairs of booties and one pair of knee high boots and I think I am done....post to follow soon with photos.

Other than that, just looking to fill some closet holes like a skirt and a pair of work trousers. I need to go back on SYC though after the last item I ordered comes in (the blue B44 dress).

A purple, single breasted, wool coat, and a long sleeve printed dress are at the top of the list. BF jeans if I can find just the right fit. The rest are just random tops that are on the perpetual list lol (red cardi, white button front, etc)

Last year I really wanted some Chelsea boots or similar, so I think I will continue the quest this fall. And I'm still looking for more casual non-jeans trousers, which I never did manage to find before I gave up. Also a few more jackets in different colors and shapes, a cardigan (or two) that is not black or grey, a long length sweater that isn't acrylic, and some sort of rain hat that goes with a trench coat. I might try my hand at making a baker boy style using the fabric from a salvaged umbrella.

I've just purchased some inexpensive leopard flats that I've wanted for the last few years, and some short black booties to go with jeans. And last night, I ordered a blue and black striped top from the Limited that should work well on its own or under a cardigan when it's really cold.

Still on the list are some chunky warm sweaters. I'm always cold, so some stylish wool or tweed sweaters would be great...I have yarns/pattern to make them but it takes me a long time to finish...usually by the following summer. Buying one or two while these are in progress would be great! If anyone sees any, please let me know!

I'm looking for comfy and warm yet stylish "day at home" tops and pullover sweaters. I feel that my "out and about" wardrobe is pretty well set, but I remember last winter feeling like I had nothing to wear if I was just kicking around at home and spent way to many afternoons in a knit tee and hoodie. I want to have a few more options for those days.
I'm also thinking the addition of a pair of neutral colored oxfords would be great.

I've been looking for some layering tees, in Fall colors such as teal and burgundy. I found a few at CC and hope they'll fit and work for me colorwise. I also need a couple more dressy blouses, but am not in desperate need of them. If I see something that wows me and that will work well for me, at a good price, I'll grab it. If not, I'll keep looking. That's the beauty of scouting the internet. I don't have to buy something just because it's there or just because it's on sale. I can pass on the things that don't fit my criteria and save my hard-earned $ for items that will meet my needs.

It's a long list (I've lost weight, so have to replace items that no longer fit and I need to go back to looking more professional this year). But I'm really drooling over all the leather jackets and skirts I see. Maybe I'll convince DH I need an early X-mas present :).

I'm also looking for oxfords - I have Frye Carsons on the way.

I recently had to replace some dresses and pants that no longer fit, so I know how it cramps your budget. On the plus side, it gives you the opportunity to change your color palette around a bit if you wish. When I replaced my pants, I went with mostly grays (charcoal and medium gray) and lighter shades of brown. I bought 2 pairs of black pants just because there are times when only black will work, but I really don't like wearing black all that much.

I'd like to find something burgundy, probably a blouse or cardigan. I would also like a printed bottom, probably pants. What I really need is a pair or two of booties, medium heeled in brown or gray. I do also need a new winter coat.

I haven't thought about it so much yet, in terms of the big picture. Piece-wise... I'm kinda jonesing for a nordic crewneck jumper in nontraditional colors - saw an ad for one with electric blue and pink snowflakes. Maybe a couple of pointy-collared button downs. Navy wool skirt. Black pencil skirt. And I want some "sock boots" like Anthropologie had out last year... Ya, none of this goes together.

Also, I shrunk my grey thermal top. I need a new one.
