Suz: This "Welcome" post is just meant as a general intro to let everyone know what the Book Club forum is all about. We'll make it "sticky", so it stays at the top of the Book Club forum, and over the months it can help new members find their bearings.

Definitely start a new thread when you want to discuss the movies and books for YLF Book Club. As a matter of fact, you can start more than one thread for a single book or movie as well. There are so many aspects to each title and we'd love to hear your take on everything that caught your interest. One long thread can get a little unwieldy after a while, and if other forum members just want to comment on one or a few aspects, separate threads will make that easier too.

Mochi: Feel free to start a thread on any movie or book you'd love to talk about. We've created the Book Club forum to talk *all* things books and movies.

Mellllls: I'm raring to get started too:-)

Also: as soon as a title for YLF Book Club goes live (schedule here), I'll start a thread with some initial thoughts in this forum. This is merely to get things going. As I mentioned above, it would be great to see many different discussions on specific topics about the same movie or book. So start as many threads as you like.

Inge - I just clicked on over to the schedule for the first time, and see "Parisian Chic" starting on December 9th - a book I'd love to read. It's in my shopping cart, but my question is if everyone's reading the book in advance, or if it's ok to participate even if you're just starting the book now. Luckily I have fast shipping from Amazon, but still wouldn't get the book until Wednesday (7th) or thereabouts.

Just got the book today and have been madly flipping through it, not because I'm cramming, but because it's so darn interesting and filled with so many good fashion tips.

I didn't try and 'cram' through the book, because of reassurances from everyone that one could jump right on in at any point, but I read the whole book the night I got it. Easy to read, and fun.
