Wedding tomorrow - which dress?

Hi ladies- I know I've been MIA but life has been busy and my outfits repetitive (which is how I want them, quick and easy!) Anywho, due to a bit of weight gain and zealous tailoring I had to come up with a last min outfit for a wedding tomorrow. Yay for 1, Nay for 2. Hair ideas also welcome your thoughts? It is a big do, portuguese and greek families, 2:30 ceremony 6:00 dinner. Thanks a million in advance!

Love both, maybe 2 looks a little more formal. Love the little doggie too, very cute!

I think they both look good Emily. Which one are you more comfortable in? How formal is the venue?

Venue is pretty formal - columns and fountains and the like. Both are equally comfortable.

I think the purple has a bit more formality to it, both in terms of colour and in style. Do you have a cover-up for it if it gets chilly?

I think your hair would look lovely just down in loose waves or big curls...something soft.

Beautiful dresses, Emily. I'm voting for #2, partly because I'm partial to purple, partly because it's a little dressier -- I'm guessing you have more occasions to wear #1.

I agree with Shannon's hair ideas, and that pup would make the perfect accessory!

They both look great on you but #2 looks dressier so that gets my vote!

I like #1 better overall, because it looks both more comfortable and slightly more figure-flattering. But it sounds like #2 might be better suited to the formality of the wedding, and it's also a great and flattering dress.

BTW, if you gained enough weight that it caused you to need another outfit, it certainly doesn't show Or, put a better way, if this is how fabulous you look after gaining some weight, then you needed to gain it!

Another vote for #2 just because it is dressier but they both look fabulous. I'm not good with hair but some kind of glitzy fun clutch and earrings would be nice to add.

I prefer #1 but both are very pretty and look gorgeous on you. I like the neckline a bit better on one and like the draping on the side of the skirt.

I don't think you can go wrong with either of them.

Both dresses are lovely, but I would go with #2 for a more formal occasion. I not too good with long hair, but I would suggest a simple updo or pull your hair back and add some drop earrings.

#2 is dressier IMO, and you look great in both. But, if I had to pick, it would be 2. Sounds like it will be fun! Enjoy yourself.

#2 is more formal, so I'd go with that. However, the fit on #1 is spectacular, and you should wear it often!

#2 looks beyond stunning on you! You MUST wear that dress. Repeatedly. It's been a long time since I saw a dress fit someone so flawlessly.

And I love the way your pooch manages to get in the picture. Mine do that too, but they never face the camera so adoringly.

Thanks so much, everyone! I thought 2 was more formal also so that is what I will be wearing. I am getting my hair done at 11, hopefully I will have some time to snap a pic before we leave. As far as the adorable Tango, my husband took the pics and left him in frame, haha. The silly pooch has been inadvertently trained to stare at the phone whenever it is aimed near him camera-style.

Emily, I love both dresses on you. 1 is more formal IMO so I don't think you could go wrong. 2 is a gorgeous dress on you as well.

4 of my close friends are getting married this summer (one wedding tomorrow!) so I'm thinking ahead about what to wear too.
