Emboldened by all Angie's posts on glasses as fab updates, I made these my big purchases for 2015.

And when my hairdresser saw me wear them, she agreed to help me keep moving toward a slightly edgier style (but she exacted a promise to wear lippie all the time!). It's been a graduated bob since spring, getting more asymmetric with every cut.

My hair color continues to be problematic. The front was solidly grey before I was 30; now mostly white. The back remains patchy medium brown and battleship grey. It looks great in a chignon or a bun, but I'm just not willing to hassle with my hair long. Right now the front has some fresh high/low lights; the back is painstakingly painted, four colors, I think. I just wish Mother Nature would hurry a little.

ETA: Whoa, I was unclear: the pictures show what the dull gray/brown mop looks like AFTER it's been painstakingly (yes, expensively) colored.

Thanks for your input on the cut/color/natural situation.
