I have been so swamped with work I haven't had much time to take pictures or post on the forum. I did managed to get pictures of some outfits. Things are slowing down a bit, so hopefully I will have more time to spend on YLF.

Tue 3-10-09
I think this outfit needs more color. I'm thinking maybe a red belt?

Tue 3-24-09
I usually wear this skirt in the summer with heels. I had to fold over the waistband to make it shorter so it would look better with boots. I'm not crazy about the look, and I'm on the search for a tan skirt I can wear with boots.

Tue 3/31/09
I'm wearing a cream cami under the shirt and I realize it shows through a little bit with the flash from the camera. I promise it wasn't like that in real life.

You look so polished every day. I agree that the first outfit could use a bit of color but it wouldn't have to be red. Green, turquoise, yellow...lots of choices.
My favorite on you is 3-31, but it was hard to choose.

You look great. I think the first outfit would look great with any colored belt - yellow, red, turquoise, purple, green, etc....
I think the red sweater and pants outfit is my least favorite - something about the length or shape of the sweater. But the color is nice on you and the pants fit perfectly.
I think I have the same exact Liz Claiborne purse? My mom got mine at Macy's for me a couple of years ago....
That green and the pink look so good with your skin. I love how polished you look everyday!

I love the zebra print cardi and denim skirt with green top. I agree with Asha about the red sweater i think it's possibly a bit long, hopefully Angie will chime in x

Great outfits! I especially like the one with the scarf and the VS Christie pants, so polished and chic! I also dig your Nine West purse on 3/24.
Agree with previous suggestions re: a belt in red or any other color (kelly green would be nice!) and the length of the red sweater.

Great week! Yes, a bit of color on the b&w outfit will make it sing. Red, yellow, turqoise, anything bright and bold so it will stand up to the sassy b&w print.

My favorite is the 31st. Love the scarf and rich brown top together, and the red purse finishes it off perfectly.

I am envious of your purse collection!

Oooh la la! You look wonderful all week. I’m with the gals on the red jumper outfit, but the scarf and pants ensemble is KILLER.

Violet, you're so beautiful! I love your hairstyle. You have a lovely softness to your look that is so welcoming and appealing without being at all cutesy or unprofessional.

My favourite outfits are the first two, and the only one I didn't particularly like was the one with the red sweater--it looked a tad dated to me, mostly because of the length, I think. I wonder if the denim skirt outfit would look a bit sharper with a bit of a shorter sweater, too. I agree that red, turquoise, yellow, pink or orange would punch up the zebra top nicely.

I have a shorter red sweater that I can wear with those pants. I've worn that longer sweater with skinny jeans and boots and I think it works better that way.

I love some of the combinations of turquoise and black and white I've seen on the forum, so I might try a color like that with the zebra cardi.

Asha - I got the red purse at Macys, so we most likely have the same one.

Kristen - Thanks for the compliment about the purses! TJ Maxx is my go to place. Every now and then I'll find something I really love for a great deal.

Angie - still working on the short necklace collection. Thanks for the reminder. I'm going back to the mall this week to return some items so I'll be on the lookout!
