Violet - Outfits Week of 1/18/09

I didn't get a chance to take pictures every day, but here are a few outfits from this past week. It's been really cold here, but it did get into the 40s in Friday!

I am definitely getting tired of this super-cold weather and I am ready for spring!

Hi Violet, you look wonderful as usual. I really love all of your outfits, especially Wednesday and Thursday.

I think that in the Sunday outfit the cardi might be a bit too short. I'd try a longer one, while that short one would be great for skirts.

Btw, I hear you on the cold weather. I am sick and tired of it myself.

I really like Tues' outfit in neutrals -- very classy. And you look great in Thurs' coral sweater - a beautiful color on you.

You look great in your outfits, Violet! I like the Sunday outfit. Agree that cardi is a little short, but the overall look works for me, and it nicely shows off your curves. In the Tuesday outfit, you look polished and I like the jacket, but the pants look a little loose; I wonder if a more fitted pair (especially around the hips) would be even better.

Thanks for the feedback ladies! I will try the cardi from Sunday's outfit with a skirt.

Antje, I noticed in the picture of Tuesday's outfit that the pants looked a bit loose. When I tried them on in the morning they actually felt a bit snug around the thigh area. I'll have to try them on again and maybe take some more pictures to see if I need any alterations. Thanks for the suggestion!

I also loved Tuesday's outfit. The detailing on the jacket combined with the belt made in a extra-special look.

Thanks Becky! I have not worn the jacket from Tuesday's outfit in about a year, so I'm glad I decided to pull it out.
