I just bought this pair of heels at WHBM. They are SO comfy...they remind me of the Okalas. The only problem is that the vamp is too roomy from top to bottom; i.e., I can easily fit an entire finger between the top of my foot and the vamp. I could try to close up the gap by putting in some cushions beneath the ball of my foot, but the shoes feel a little less comfortable with the thick cushions inside (plus, the cushions make my foot sweat).

For those of you who have run into this problem, do you just return the shoes? Or does the leather, as it softens, get less dome shaped and create a better fit across the top of the foot?
