Vacation outfit possibilities

I am going on an all girls trip over Memorial Day weekend and was starting to look through my closet to get an idea of what to pack. It's a pretty casual weekend and we'll be going to Dallas. I wanted to get an idea of what I might need while there's still time to shop before packing

Dani, my favorite is the wrap top outfit. The pop of the green cami underneath is perfect! The wrap top really accentuates your waist. The blue patterned top under the white cardi is nice, too. Your shorts seem to be a good length for you. There is a *bit* of pocket show-through on the white shorts; I think that's a common problem. The outfit that I don't think will have a high AAR is the khaki shorts with the polo. Though it looks a lot like something I would have worn prior to YLF, Angie says polos are a very young look, not so fab for us *mature* ladies.

My favorites were #1 and #3. I really liked the white shorts w/the white cardi. I agree w/Becky that the khaki/polo combo is a little less than fab.

Becky, I live in Nashville so I've got fairly decent shopping here (not great, but we're going to get a Nordstroms in the next year). Unfortunately, we will probably be catching up with each other than going shopping. It's a group of girlfriends that I went to college with and we now live all over the place and we try to get together once a year. It's our 12th trip

There are winning ensembles, Dani! Outfits 1, 3 and 4 are great and get my thumbs up. Love you in a wrap top. Bless you for sporting walk shorts the right length. Adore those green shoes!

At the risk of sounding predictable (which is probably a good thing), the polo shirt and khaki shorts is not a good look. You have done so much better with the other ensembles and that should be your bench mark.

I love the wrap top outfit ( I bet everyone here is surprised by that :)), and the white cardigan one as well. I would skip the polo outfit, all the other ones are much cuter.

I also like 1 and 4 the best... but it's a toss up between 1 and 4 for my favorite!

Two totally different moods... I suppose the wrap top is more smart casual, but #4 is just so adorable... love the shrug over the loose top and the green shoes ... it's something I would definetly wear myself, for a laid-back sunday or something like that.

The white cardi/white shorts... something bugs me about this. The proportions are all perfect, I think it's too much white??

I would like to see this with a different color cardi, something orange or yellow.

Shiny, I don't have another appropriate cardigan right now (I have a yellow one on backorder from JCrew...I think the same one as Ana). Do you think I could trade out denim shorts for the white and try some bright colored shoes?

Love the wrap top outfit and the shrug one. I'm actually with shiny on the white card/shorts one. The shape is great, the individual items are great, but I would only use one white piece and swap out either the cardi or the shorts. Maybe something to shop for whlie in Dallas

Yes, do try the denim shorts instead of the white ones. That might just do the trick!
