Well, I didn't delve into my faux pearls but here are (will add tomorrow) most of my real ones, as well as, a batch of mixed media ones I made for myself with very inexpensive freshwater pearls! I'd be happy to dig out the faux collection too. Looking forward to seeing everyone's and loving those I've seen.

My only quandary... is it not gonna let me post pics yet? I don't see the option here. Just looked and found my own answer. One more day until I am official and then I'll add the pics here!

Thanks to UmmLila for posting the NM Last Call links - I found one on the site that I loved and has now arrrived. My preference is graduated, with some metal (preferably rhodium-plated, to avoid tarnish), classic yet modern, and neither too delicate nor too bold - finally, this Majorica necklace fit the bill in every way!

Finally able to post pics!
This pearl affair has been ongoing! This is about 3/4 of the genuine pearl collection along with a few freshwater and genstone or beaded pieces I made for myself at the end. If anyone wants to see the faux collection, I'll whip it out too.

Bella! No pearl advice here but just happy to see you and see that you're still wearing "our" necklace!

Oh WOW, jipp, what a stunning collection. I am a pearl loving gal myself, and can imagine these bringing you tons of joy (wearing them, and just looking at them too;-)
Thanks so much for taking the time to photograph and post them. I for one would love to see the faux collection too (if that's not too greedy of me;-)

Karie and Penny, your necklaces are beautiful too!!

Inge, thank you! I am just happy not to have bored you, lol! I will definitely do the faux capsule for you and would love to see yours too!

What a fun thread! I've enjoyed it thoroughly (and welcome to Jipp)

Bella, I have a cluster necklace very similar to yours, that I love to wear with a black and white Breton style tee. I like to mix my long strands with a monogrammed gold locket I received on my 10th birthday, and I have a two different short strands of freshwaters that I pair with a simple freshwater pendant. I sometimes mix the pearls in 3 with the locket in 2.

The ear crawlers are similar to a pair I bought at Nordies last year. Mine don't have visible gold -- just pearl. Love em!

Jipp, Not at all!! On the contrary!-)
I've added my small collection below (definitely wouldn't mind adding a few more pieces).
ETA Still need to photograph my lariat pearl necklace.

Beth Ann, I love your necklaces too (and look how happy you look in the first picture!-) And we are pearl ear crawler twins, I always think of you when I sport mine.

Inge!! Glorious collection! Awesome gumballs! Am digging through everything right now to get it on here for ya! I have enjoyed seeing everything posted by everyone:) and yours is really lovely! Also love that you like grey pearls too!

Inge, (and anyone interested!) here are a few more of my favorite pieces! Thanks for letting me share.
The first is a mabe pearl ring with a frog and snail. The spider brooch is 18kt and tahitian and probably my favorite pearl piece of all, simply 'cause it's a spider!
The next are jade and freshwater pearl, then sterling flower and pearl earrings I made and three necklaces I made, followed by some faux of which my favorite is the last one, I Iove the crystal clasp and dark thread.

Thank you, Jipp (also for indulging my curiosity and posting all your fab pics!-)
White pearls will always be my first love, but I enjoy mixing it up with the grey strand (or pairing them together).

Your collection is just awesome, WOW! You have so many unique and lovely pieces (look at that ring and the spider brooch!!). I bet they make you happy each time you wear them. Great variety too, so you always have exactly the right piece at hand.

I've really enjoyed this, thanks again!

This thread makes me want to start wearing my pearls again. Thinking about restringing a few now....hmmm...

Thanks, Inge. It was fun sharing. I enjoy white pearls too! Ironically, most of the ones I didn't include were white, lol.
Thanks again for sharing yours.

Pearl necklace arrived from shopbop, love it! Thanks, Angie, for the pick!

Looks good on you peacechick and inspired me to look and find a different pearl necklace I just ordered there! Enabling, yay!

Jipp, what a fabulous collection! Thank you for sharing.

Thanks, Helen11! I''m delighted you enjoyed it.

What a fun post! I loved seeing individual pieces!

jlpp, awesome, can't wait to see the latest addition to your lovely collection!

I will happily show you, peacechick!

Actually made two new purchases, one at shopbop (freshwater pearl and leather) following your link peacechick and one at Yoox (faux pearl and crystal by an awesome Italian brand Radá!). I realized I could post the stock photos now, rather than waiting until they arrive:

Gorgeous necklaces, jlpp! The position of the crystal on the Italian one is interesting, I'm more used to the design being half-way down. I wonder if it will keep sliding down? Or maybe it depends on the neck. My necklaces never stay put how I drape them, I have to resort to pinning them to my top sometimes.

Ty! Same here, peacechick! I absolutely struggle with getting certain ones to stay put. I'm contemplating wearing the crystal part and clasp in front, just for that reason. It will definitely take tinkering, I predict!
