Good news everyone. I had my diagnostic mammography today and the doctor's gave me my results right away (well, after an hour+).

Due to my high breast density, I have small micrcalcifications which are small calcium deposits that look like white specks on a mammogram. These microcalcifications are non-cancerous and usually develop due to normal aging, inflammation, and/or past trauma to the area. The doctor assured me that I had nothing to worry about but to get another mammography next year.

This A BIG LOAD OFF of my mind.

Thank you all for your support. I couldn't have done it without my YLF family! You ladies are one-of-a-kind.

Now...time to celebrate. Maybe go shopping?????!!!!
