Hi Fabbers,

I mentioned on an earlier thread that one of my goals for October is to come up with some tried and tested uniforms. Over the last few months, I have realized that I like a few silhouettes more than others, and only need variety within these.

One of my favourite combos is leggings paired with tunics. I've always worn leggings and tunic tops. It was my ONLY uniform a few years back for summer - cropped cotton leggings and woven cotton tunic tops. However, those tops were slightly shorter and ended at top thigh length. The woven cotton fabric made them stiff, and the outfit was a bit boho. The tunics made me look shapeless unless they had a belt. I stopped loving them when I honed my sense of style and realised I love classic, modern style. I still have two such tunics, both with belts.

But my new favourite combo includes full length ponte leggings and knit tunics. These tunics are longer, very comfortable as they are stretchy, and also follow the shape of my body. They all have sleeves and don't hang down from the boobs like a tent.

The whole outfit is comfortable without looking sloppy. It's what I love to wear when traveling, long days of running around, and also for regular days when I want to be comfortable but smartly dressed. I see this uniform transitioning well into colder months with tall boots and a long coat.

Outfit #1 features a pair of grey and black jacquard leggings paired with a black tunic, a layered necklace and my new grey sandals.

Outfit #2 features a pair of black jacquard leggings paired with a purple & black diamond print tunic and black patent leather pumps.

Outfit #3 features a pair of navy and black ponte leggings from zara with a printed tunic that's been in my wardrobe for 2 years, and black ballet flats.

All three outfits feel great and my happiness factor is HIGH in all of them. While they're just tunics worn on leggings, I feel that the outfit is still quite 'ME'.

Thanks for looking. All comments/suggestions are welcome.
