This post is interesting because I've had a completely different experience with the brands everyone else has mentioned.
First, I am wondering how anyone wears regular bikini panties. I'm not being sarcastic in asking this question. I can see my bikini-panty-line under everything except dresses (and even some fitted dresses if I'm not wearing hose). I don't go for tight clothes, but anything that fits my rear shows pantylines.
Second, I have had horrible experiences with Vicky's Secret with one exception. I find their quality to be bottom-rung. I own a pair of Chantelle panties that have lasted me almost four years and are still in good-looking shape, but VS goes South in less than a year and bunches in the bum. I do like their seamless boyshorts (Not the real short-like shorts, but the ones that don't completely cover the rear. I don't know the official name). But even on those, once the seam started to go, they showed my VPL.
I tried the Jockey Modal Briefs, but I found them to be a bit frumpy for my taste. And, to boot, I could see the panty-line, both on my thighs (with fitted pants) and in the rear. These are solely flowy-dress panties for me now.
Finally, Hanky Panky thongs are lovely, but the "one-size fit all" claim is a bunch of hooey. They don't go small enough, so I have an excess of fabric in my nethers. I do think they are pretty and wear them anyway (no panty-line!) but I don't think I'm getting the full "experience".
I'm still in search of the perfect fitting panty. I actually sincerely dislike traditional rear cuts that cover my rump. I prefer seamless style panties that do not fully cover the rear. Hanky-Panky Thongs are nice because they aren't (as my step-father used to so ungraciously call them) butt-floss, but they don't cover the booty.
Sigh. The travails of the undy-searcher. If only HP would make a "one-size-fits-all" for us smaller-hipped folk.
