A lot of stores i've been recently ( and by a lot I mean 4 ) displayed tweed-like shorts ( or I don't know how to name the pattern/texture). I kinda like them. My bf , who I emailed a pic is underwhelmed.
Anyway, since I'm trying to SYC ( from Oct 1st) i remembered I had some kind of Bermuda shorts from a wool fabric. This week-end - a nice alteration project. Wish me luck!
What do you think of the general look?
Also , I'm drawn to the checkered/tweed kinda look displayed by hm commercials. I tried one ( http://www.hm.com/ro/product/94548?article=94548-A) but despite a good fit ( and acceptable fabric) it just seemed like it's too much on billboard and commercials. I'm torn. Also, the rest of H&M jackets were not-so-fab as fabric is concerned. Still rooting for a black/brown blazer ( I only own one, gray)
