Q&A about individual items, ensembles, and wardrobe

Tunic- yes/no?

I'm on the fence about buying this tunic: http://www.newport-news.com/sh.....ry_id=8883

I need something long to wear over leggings, perhaps for work. Think this could work? I'm still not too sure about the voluminous top look for myself...but at this price point I'm not really losing much...

I think that's really pretty!

The tunic is lovely but i'm not sure if that much volume is the best option for you. You can choose some volume but more fitted in the waist.

It *could* work. How opposed are you to a belt if it ends up being too sack -like? I’m happy to hear you’re trying it though!

Belts for me have so far been purely used to hold my pants up. But I wore an outfit a couple days ago that I've yet to post up here....in which I tried a larger than usual belt slung about my hips over a tank. Depending on the verdict that picture receives from all of you, I'm not at all opposed to a belt... =)

I would wear it in a heartbeat...but I'm afraid it's hard to tell without seeing you or knowing your style.

A fitted vest on top would also reign in the fullness.

So would a jacket. I have a tunic that I wear with a jacket - and it gives it a sort of funky poet look.

It's lovely. It looks a tad too short for leggings. But you'd just have to try it on yourself to see for sure.
