...is not that easy lately. Ever since we returned from our vacation life has been busy. Usually I do the post on Friday night and here I am at 11:48PM on Sunday and have not done it yet!
So my post will be brief in words (sorry!) but heavy in pictures (sorry again!)
#1 olive sheath, camel Trouve jacket and boots from NAS with my amber tie-like necklace.
#2 -3 dusted out my A-line dress from last year - this time with charcoal top and chunky pearl necklace, leggings and two-tone flats. Wearing such neutral outfit prompted me to add a caramel leather trench and a red bag!
#4-5 This outfit looked great in my head but I am not sure it was that great IRL...but rules are rules and I am posting it here. I think I prefer logger tops tucked in with these pants even if they are fitted and belted...
#6-7 I decided to try layering t-necks under my silk tunics: I love them so much and want to extend their wear into the fall and maybe winter. I also saw this kind of layering (shorter sleeve over the long) in InStyle and decided to give it a try. What do you think? As a bonus a pic of my NAS red cape!
#8 On Friday I felt like casual so here it is. Pairing a balck t-neck with this raspberry cowl neck was approved before - what do you think of this hot pink top with it?
#9 - bonus what I wore today to meet a friend in Toronto who I have not seen for 13 years!
My weekly duty is done and I am off to bed now - thanks for looking!

Sveta, while I love the whole bunch, the tonal and textural combinations in #1 are absolutely fantastic. I love that jacket and it's so fun to see it both on you and on Celia working wonderfully.

Agree with Angie! #1 and #7 are my faves too! Love the rich mix of textures in #1. That red cape makes me happy just looking at it. And your red bag and blue coat are so fab too. I love seeing your posts!

Wow! you look so stunning in every outfit that I can't pick a favorite. Thank you for taking the time to photograph and post these. You have so many good inspirational ideas. I've wondered too about t-necks under sheer silky blouses when it turns colder. Yours looks great.

So glad you'll be able to continue wearing your pretty silk blouses You've gotten me pining to get a pair of taupe boots!

Sveta, what a fab week. Everything here is great. I can't pick a favourite but I love #2 and #3. The dress is very funky and the jacket is to die for. #6 is a great idea and while you are doing this to take you from the warm weather to the cold, I have been doing this with my blouses to take me from the cold into the warm! The color of the jumper in #8 is beautiful and the addition of the earrings is perfect.

Sveta, I'm DYING - these are SOOO fab. I was just thinking about how I've missed your posts. I love all of the delicious autumn neutrals and textures put together in interesting ways (and the shots of color with the red, raspberry, and cobalt). GORGEOUS.

Love #1 and the jacket in #5 is perfect on you. Those skinny jeans in #6 and 7 fit you so well and your legs look great in them.

I am glad you stayed up late for your "homework assignment." All of these are great outfits.
#1 -I really, really like how you styled that Trove blazer here. I've been wondering what else it could be worn with besides black and this pairing is superb.
#2 -3 -Nice layering look here.
#4-5 -I don't mind the length of this top with these wide pants. The vest is such an interesting and fun detail for this outfit, so is the flower pin.
#6-7 -I am a big fan of layering tops just as you did here. Especially when the layer is dark and does not distract from the outfit as you did here.
#8 -The pink underlayer here is ok, but I would prefer if the underlayer was not the brightest part of the outfit, perhaps navy instead? My eyes went immediately to the arms. Pretty color cowlneck.
#9 - Your coat collection reminds me that's something I need to work on, great coats!

This really is a k-worthy week. You just get more and more elegant. I am loving your hair by the way.

My favourites are #1, #6/7, and #9. Brilliant looks, and you were so right to get that extra coat. I am now determined to build a little coat collection.

I think you are way too hard on yourself about # 4. I actually like it as a change.

And the taupe boots! Please remind me what they are!

Oh, wow. I miss your regular posts and this IS why. What a great, creative, versatile round.
The new look on you (for me at least) is 6 - it's just fabulous in its simplicity. All strong basics and look fab together, but that owl steps things up not one but two notches at least.

Sveta! Your are so gorgeous in each and every photo. I love your style and how each element flows so well together with the whole. And skinny jeans, you wear them so well! Picture 6, I was blown out of my chair. Pic 7, again! And again and again until the end. Pics 1-2-3, so mod, so elegant and breezy. It is like it is coming out of a magazine. Pic 4, love that flower! Pic 5, the bag brings it all together in a subtle efficient way, Your short hair really shows off your beauty in all of these.

Kari, it may be a bit colder in November when you are coming. take a lot of layers and warm outerwear. A couple of years ago we had 2 feet of snow before Halloween...

Lisa, this Trouve blazer may be a hard color for you as you wear cool colors so well but I wear warm colors and they are dominant in my wardrobe: it is so easy to pair them with this blazer!

Alicat, thanks for asking. They both are in the house now - pooh for a week and Winnie is since Friday. We are keeping them separate for now until they get used to us. It is a lot of fun but it takes a lot of my time to spend time with each of them. This is one of the reasons I was not present on the forum much for the last week.
