Trying to decide which boots to buy

I am looking for some tall boots to wear with skinny jeans. All my boots now have kitten heels and pointy toes, so I'm looking something a bit different. After doing some searching online, I have narrowed it a little bit, but I am having a really hard time deciding which pair to get.

I had some time on my hands yesterday, so I made a little "shoe collage".

My budget is around $150-$170, but I would consider something around $200 if is is a really great pair. Also, I want to get something classic that I can wear for a long time. I don't spend too much time outside or walking around, but I would still like them to be comfortable and warm if the need arises.

My favorites, in order of preference are Born Persimmon, Gabriella Rocha Noelle and Bandolino Renoir. The others are beautiful, too. All great choices, you can't go wrong with them.

I think they ALL have potential. Great selection of boots! It really boils down to on how they fit and feel. Have you tried any of them, Violet?

I have been thinking of the Renoir boots myself but I'm not sure if they will fit my calf or not. So...naturally those get my vote. But I also like the Gabriella Rocha ones and the Edwena boots. They all look great but those are my top three.

My faves are Bandolina Edwina & Born Persimmons. They all look pretty sweet though!

I agree with bellacville on the order of preference. I like a little detail like a buckle or cool zipper. Do you just want tall leather boots? I just bought slouchy suede boots that I love. They are made by Naughty Monkey and are called D-ring. They come in black, brown and grey. Shoes.com had a 20% and free shipping so they were only $79 down from the $99 I usually see online.

Personally, I like the Cole Haan's because of the wedge heel. But for you I kind of like the Gabriella Rocha Noelle, because that little sideways buckle is just a bit different, and I think it sort of goes with your individual style. But really, they're all great boots.

Thanks for the feedback everyone! So far, I have only looked at these online so I haven't had a chance to try them out in person. I have skinny calves so I think the next step will be to narrow them down further based on the measurements.

jwomack - I did look at some suede boots, but I decided to narrow it down to leather, b/c I think they will hold up a little better in the weather. I didn't check out shoes.com yet, but I'll take a look to see if they have some good deals.

Tough decision, Violet. My favourites are the Bandolina Edwena (both colours are super), the Gabriella Rocha and the Kenneth Cole wedges.

I hope you get a chance to try them on soon. Do report back please. I'm thinking: maybe you can take pictures of you wearing all of them, then we could help you decide even better;-)

Thanks for the feedback Inge! Since both Piperlime and Zappos have free shipping and returns, I'm seriously considering ordering a couple of different pairs so I can try them on in person. Or I might try braving the mall after Christmas to see what's there. Either way, I will definitely post pictures.

All the boots look great! I have some wedge-heeled boots and they are super comfortable-something to consider.
