Trying new things: hairtcut + outfits

Hello all, I finally found time to post some pics of my new haircut and a few recent outfits. Please note, I am no good with the camera and am still figuring out how to best take pics of myself.
I posted these photos because I in them all I tried something new:
(1) haircut (till recently it was super long, way past shoulder length)
(2) cardigan
(3) vest
(4) belt

I am trying to figure out how to look balanced and polished in a smart casual way. From these photos, what am I best at, what needs some improvement to help me reach my goal? Any comments on how better to work with my body type to achieve balance would be much appreciated!!

RM- I love your hair cut! Super cute on you. I like all of your outfits, they are all very flattering on you. Looks like you're well on your way to achieving your "smart casual" style. I really don't see anything you did that didn't *work* for you. What would you say is your body type? I especially like the outfit with the belt- that is very cute. Keep posting pictures.. I love getting inspiration from all of the beautiful ladies here!

Thanks queenie..! I am a hourglass w/ rectangle tendencies. I often *feel* out of balance due to large bust size, but am not sure how much of that is real vs. in my head.. I do wonder if I need wider leg pants, or a different ratio of top length: bottom length to help balance my larger top, I guess that is what I mean to ask.

I think you're doing fine. I woudn't do a wider pant-- or change your top length. You just want to stick with the lower cut necklines to de-emphasise your bust size. You look great to me! You have a fantastic figure. I don't see out of balance at all.

Welcome Rosemerin! And congrats on posting your first lot of pics.

Your outfits look super and I wouldn’t change a thing. You have a great bod and a really long leg line so aren’t you a lucky fish :0)

Congrats on getting such a fab haircut; it can be scary to go short after having it long, but you look amazing in it!

Love all the outfits, in particular the tunic with the belt hanging low and drape-neck printed top. With such long thin legs you can get away with a lot of great looks. Your jeans look divine on you!

The hair cut is lovely!

Love also the outfits, I have also a large bust and it's difficult to dress it but you managed! It looks great to me!

Thanks all, I appreciate it. Do I really have a long leg line? I have wondered about that.. I do have a short waist (small distance between bust and waist) so I guess it makes sense that I have a long leg line.

You look great. I LOVE your short hair and your beautiful blue eyes! Gorgeous! Your face structure, eyebrows, and nice skin too, all work together with your short hair!
I didn't notice anything out of balance with you in the pictures. I wondered why you felt that way until I read in a response that you feel you are top heavy. What ever you are doing is working because you look very balanced in the pictures. Well done!!!

Rosemerin, your new haircut is FABULOUS! It is very flattering on you. And you are so pretty.

I like all your outfits, I think you're doing great. I particularly loved the last set with the long shirt & belt - that's a great look for you.

I LOVE your new haircut! It's so chic, and really brings everything up a notch. The outfit with the bootcut jeans, ballet flats and black and white printed shirt is really nice, I like that one a lot. You definitely have long legs! I like the vest/sleeveless jacket. It think it would also look nice layered over a blouse with interesting sleeves, something like this:

The ruched blue button down is very flattering! I like how you have it styled with the belt.

I can't wait to see what you come up with next! I hope you post it here. :)
