I'm all for embracing natural beauty, etc., but this actually looks like they emphasized any blemishes and redness to make the models' faces look as splotchy as possible.
Odd. Are they marketing to that age group? As an aside, I have to admit that I'm kind of off most runway shows because it is just so hard relating to models these days, and imagining the look on real life me. Vivienne Westwood is the exception. I could wear Westwood....
Am I the only one who thought that this was 100% makeup? It's one thing to not be ashamed of your natural skin, but another thing entirely to be using makeup to make it appear like you have acne.
I guess they ran out of things to distinguish their new fashion lines. I think/hope a lot of it is makeup. I don't miss my teenage years, something to be said about getting older.
Haha, Aziraphale, I read this article and followed a link from it, English Rose, something like that, where the models were wearing makeup to resemble a bit of a sunburn. Lol.
