To keep or not? - YouLookFab Forum

I went through my Summer inventory and tried to decide which stay and which go. Here are some pieces that I'm not sure about:

1) Red skirt top - The length and fit seem to be fine but I don't know about the tassels on the bottom, should I have them removed?

2) Tunic - Something doesn't look right with this top, it makes me look shorter and bigger, is there a way to make it look better?

3) Floral top and capris - I wore the top with the capris in two ways, which one is better? Also can I keep the capris? Does it fall in Angie's guilty capris category? It has cute buttons on the cuff that I really like, I hope there is a way to save it.

4) Casual top - too baggy? I wore it in two ways again to see if any of them looks good.

These are my opinons:

Red top with the tassle: Kinda boxy. I've seen you in more flattering things. Also, I'd like to see your skirt a little shorter.

Tunic--I like it. Would look nice with skinnies or a pair of clam diggers--but they would have to be very tapered. It may be a tad long though.

Floral top and Capris....Floral top--I like it, prefer it unbelted--but I don't have an eye for belted tops. Capris--not so much. I think they are too big and baggy on you. And too long.

Blue top...I like the overall shape of it when belted--but the shirt has a detailed waist feature that seems to fight with the belt. I also think the seam along the chest/shoulder area is widening. So, I'd pass.

I really like the tunic on you. I agree with Nicole on other things except I actually prefer the floral top belted but I am no expert

Thanks Nicole and Anne. I agree with you on the baggy capris and blue top, they need to go.

I'll see if I can add a cardi over the red top to make it look less boxy, it might work as a layer piece.

I also agree on the capris and the blue top. I actually really like the tunic. As for the red top, try it with a cardi buttoned only in the middle, that can give waist definition.
