I've been reading the blog and forum lately but just haven't the time to post! Now that I have handed up a couple of assignments, I should be able to find some time to participate more actively here.

I don't think the over the knee boots are at all trashy the way you have worn them. Maybe when paired with a short skirt and fishnets!

If you're worried about the ankle boots shortening your legs make sure you always wear them with black tights like you've done which will lengthen the leg x

Gosh, you are fearless Dawn, how anyone can think you looked trashy in your over the knee outfit is beyond me.

With your second outfit it is the colour combinations which really wowed me, what a fantastic outfit for flat packed furniture!

I'm taking notes on how you are wearing your grey ankle boots. I received mine last week and love it with the pink tulip skirt. I've just ordered some grey fishnets to wear with mine.

I can't believe the reaction you got towards your over-the-knee boots! Do you live in a very conservative area? It's mind boggling! I personally think you look like a completely classy lady... in everything you wear!

I myself wouldn't call it conservative but it is a very small rural 'city' (read: large town) where many people don't really wear over-the-knee boots and so on. It also has earned a deserved reputation for being a bit rough as well; and while I attend university here, the campus is in the suburbs of the city and I live in the city centre so there's no real student atmosphere that most cities would have and therefore no sense of student style around the city either.

While, these three things do partially explain it, chances are I just happened to encounter some really rude teenagers.

Angie, the skirt was a spontaneous and cheap purchase from Primark (Penneys here in Ireland) that I never though would integrate so well into my wardrobe. In the last two weeks, I've worn it in so many completely different ways... and it's pink! I'm totally loving pink at the moment!

You are always a fasion leader. Seeing you in these OTK boots has made them look very non trashy to me. I see more of an equestrian vibe and I would like to see more of this on everyone, possible including me, keeping the trashy vibe way down and the equestrian vibe way up. I like the boots and might give a try with a casual tweed jacket. How's that for equestrian?
You look great and there is always a pleasant twist of a surprise in your style. You're so young and already achieved this much individuality in the way you present yourself. I love it.

I LOVE the last one. (the others are nice too) That red skirt looks so good on you, you're so pretty ! And the grey boots are quite classy !
You are a real role model when it comes to fashion, you have a unique style and knows how to dress ! I must admit that I admire you.

The knee boots are anything but trashy, they give some originality to your outfit. You definitely succeed in creating a nice outfit, I don't see how people could criticize it.

Yet, some people are narrow-minded...
