I've just noticed that you have dropped the Cecile!

I know the top needs altered but I honestly think it looks better on you than the model, have you considered modelling?

I love the jacket, you where this type of graphic print very well, I tried on a similar jacket last week but I was unable to carry off the scale of the print.

I'm really not sure about the trench, I'm not sure if it is the style or the combination of white and leopard but I'm not feeling it like the other two items.

That top is fabulous; I am in love with the plaid. Looks great on you, too, imo.

The white trench is rather blah, though I like the animal print cuff. Don't get me wrong, it looks nice on you-maybe it would grab me more as part of an outfit.

But that jacket. . .that jacket! Love. It. The end.

The white trench....I am not as crazy about but do like the cuffs. It isn't you, it's the coat - it just doesn't 'grab' me if that makes sense but the blouse and the checked coat are really great! Love them both!

The houndstooth jacket is FAB. LOVE YOU IN IT.

The purple top is also lovely, but it does look too big. Are you getting it altered or did you try a smaller size?

I actually like the cream trench; the animal print on the cuffs is adorable, and I love how creamy and pink your complexion is against the light fabric.

I vote keep for the blouse and the jacket, return for the trench. It looks matronly to me.

R&J -- thanks for the compliment, but I don't foresee modeling in my future. It's not something I ever thought about for myself so your comment made me smile. :)

Kristen -- I think I will just alter the blouse because I'm worried that if I get a smaller size the buttons will pull. It needs to be taken in considerably though. I'll talk to the tailor tomorrow.

Seems like the white trench isn't getting fab reviews! I thought something was a little off with it.

Love, love the jacket! Fabulous! Please keep it. The blouse is gorgeous too, but I would take it in. I can not make up my mind on the trench, sorry.

Without reading any other responses, here’s my 2 cents:

o Blouse is fabulous! You look better in it than the model. Really.

o Hounds tooth jacket….ORBIT TAKE OFF……..Good grief! KILLER. It’s absolutely sensational. Graphic, simple, a little retro and very strong. That’s your style.

o Cream trench is a fab colour but the style is not hip enough for you. I vote return.

Yep, Angie, there was a clear consensus and everyone agrees with you! The cream trench is going back... everything else stays! :)

Without reading everyone else's comments, I love the plaid top. With a few alterations, it would be perfect on you! The color is just beautiful on you. And I love the first coat. KEEP! The trench didn't wow me as much as the other two, so if you send anything back, then I would send that back.

Just chiming in to agree with the others. You've found a couple of great pieces.

You know I thought for sure the trench was going to be a keeper. I like the band at the waist, the large brown buttons, and leopard print lining. Now that I take a second look though, I think it may be the collar that is not hip enough for you. Is that what is called a Peter Pan collar?

I'm with the ladies. Jacket and blouse are amazing, but the trench is just strange. it's doing funny things to your chest and the leopard cuffs are a bit matronly. I do like the idea of a white trench for you though, so I would continue looking.

I think you have comparatively small shoulders, and the more substantial stand away collar looks and possibly built up shoulder line in the jacket really balances your figure out in a way that the trench doesn't.

Incidentally I think that is why you have got so many comments (previously) about wearing a lower neckline - I don't thing it is a lower one so much as a wider neckline that looks good on you.

I agree with everyone else - that jacket is killer! You look great in it. I love the blouse too!

1. Fabulous! I actually looked for it this weekend in my size but they didn't have it :-( It seems like the ruffles would look perfect for me with the plaid print because they wouldn't stand out but add the right amount of textural interest.

Thanks everyone! I love the blouse and jacket and think they are two great pieces that will work very well this fall (and can't beat the price on the blouse!) Inge -- thanks again for pointing that out!

The trench will go back tomorrow. It's from the Rack and was super cheap, alas my attraction to it. Someone needs to remind me that cheap doesn't always mean I have to buy it!

Nothing more to be said! Love the blouse, you can do better than the trench, and the jacket...the jacket!!!! You look incredible in it!! I want one. :)
