Thoughts on this tunic/dress

I have just seen this and really like it:

even though all of these pleats are probably going to be detrimental to my already-very-curvy hips. But I really like the idea of layering this over white shirt or black turtleneck, with denim skinnies and tall boots for fall. What do you think?

I'll probably stop by this store on the weekend to try this and that ruffly top on.

I like the look of it. I definitely think it's worth at least trying on and posting a photo here. Are you thinking of the black or red?

I could see how that would look really sharp over a black turtleneck. With some skinny jeans or a pencil skirt?

I really like the dress, Tanya. I think the outfit sounds cute but definitely a photo would be necessary. Also, I would try it with booties first instead of long boots...just because the dress and the long boots would be competing for attention, know what I mean? It could be a hit or miss, but worth trying it out like Ana said.

Ana, I do not like tunic with pencil skirts look on me, something looks off, maybe because of super-long torso. But skinnies are another story

Thanks Inge! Yep, I did see that BR sweaterdress and I like it very much. Unfortunately, it is too long to be worn with skinnies, my lifestyle is such that wearing a dress with tights and boots would be appropriate only once-twice in the whole season. That's why I am looking for one slightly shorter to wear over skinnies, it would get so much more use that way. I love this one and tried it on:

Unfortunately, it got a CRS of 8, and since I have plenty of clothes already I have decided to only buy/keep things that are 9 or higher. So the search for the perfect sweaterdress continues ...
