Q&A about individual items, ensembles, and wardrobe

This yellow button down

I have rid of all my button downs except for this one. Its shape is plain but I like the color and sleeve length. I've tried a few ways to wear it. Please let me know if any of them are good or should I get rid of it as well.

1. With Ink blue cardi:

2. With Cropped Aqua cardi:

3. Belted with pencil skirt:

4. With jean jacket, sorry about the pants length, should wore with higher heels:

I like it for the color it provides. I think it looked especially nice with the denim jcket.

All combos look great! You've successfully reinvented your yellow button down. Well done! You are a clever little sausage :-)

My favourites are the ink blue cardi, skirt and denim jacket ensembles. You look fabulous as always! Super red shoes and necklace.

I love it when Angie calls one of us a "Clever Little Sausage"!

Greg, what kind of nicknames does she impose on you?? :D

That makes me a happy little sausage :D I'm sure Greg, Rosie and Jasmine all get their fair shares.

Julia, I think that the yellow shirt looks lovely on you, especially under the denim jacket.

"Clever Little Sausage" is such a cute nickname!

Julia, I like all the looks you posted. My favorites are the two jackets. I love the aqua blue with the yellow. Now you have all those ways to wear that one shirt!

Julia, that is such a happy shirt! You definitely put together some nice outfits with it. My favorites are also 1, 3, & 4. It's inspiring to see four different looks with one piece. :)

Julia, is that an old button down?

(Greg gets called “a clever little sausage” from time to time. Jasmine and Rosie are always clever, so only real sausages for them).

Julia, I just wanted to add that I really like this shirt, especially the skirt and both jackets. Please keep it!

Thank you so much everyone! I'll definitely keep it now.

Angie, it is a two year old button down and pre-YLF but I have hardly worn it. The recent talks about button downs made me want to reinvent the look. All ideas are from this forum so thank you for the inspiration!

*chuckle* when I imagine Jasmine and Rosie get the treats.

Very pretty, Julia!
And Angie, if Jasmine and Rosie are your puppies, I love their names! My animals all have 'people' names, too. And coincidentally, their nicknames are also usually associated with food. :)

Wow Julia. I'm SO chuffed YLF inspired the rebirth of that button down *happy sigh*. I hope you derive great pleasure from your clever little reinventions!

Thank you Sarah. Jasmine and Rosie are our 8 year old Yorkie puppies. They are as spoilt as it gets. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
