Has anybody seen this documentary about Anna Wintour and the gang at "Vogue?" I watched it over the weekend and loved it! So interesting, so fun, the clothes were so fab!
One thing that really struck me was that the movie was made in the summer and fall of 2007, but all the clothes were the ones we are all wearing right now -- there was a big colorblocking spread in the issue (September 2007),. there's a scene in which Anna wears a beautiful cream-and-navy Breton striped sweater, and the dresses and skirts and amazing little jackets she wore looked utterly current. I guess it really does take 3-4 years for fashion to get from the pages of "Vogue" to the stores and the streets.
And remember the thread about "do you have a celebrity style doppleganger?" Well, I don't, but I am totally an Anna Wintour wannabe! I would wear every. single. thing. she wears in that movie!!
