I think the new hair color suits you very well, and your new outfit looks fab too! I wish I could find that periwinkle color in a top or sweater I like -- it's always been one of my favorite colors.

I'm new and don't know what you looked like before. I can only say that the new hair color and periwinkle sweater are color perfect. You look great!

The colors you are wearing in this post are gorgeous on you. I also like the darker hair color - you don't look washed out at all.

Gorgeous new hair color and that sweater color is just fantabulous on you! Glad you are liking your new you :). Fun process!

These new clothing colours are wonderful on you, and I agree with the others in that it's amazing how such a subtle shift in hair colour can make such a big difference in pulling a look together !

Staysfit : I really really like the sweater combo and the boots.
The only thing I would change up would be the color of the pants.

My daughter is a light summer and the pallete is gorgeous ! Gorgeous ! Part of making it work is the low contrast factor. It just does not go that dark and when there is dark on a Lt. Summer - even eyeliner- your eye gets drawn to that. I think a pair of soft gray jeans would be great...

The challenge for her is pants and formal wear and being in a business environment without black and dark colors. But she does it and it suits her. When I saw her draping... true the Lt. Summer colors looked very good. BUT the darker colors, Burgundy, Navy, Black... were too much for her. Washed out her delicate coloring. Overpowered her... although that is a strong word.

On the haircolor... I like it. I am no expert but I feel It is a tad warm... there are some great pictures of Lt. SUmmer hair on Chrstine Scaman's pinterest boards. It is very hard to control hair color on gray hair. I know... I tried for 20 years and thru in the hat 3 years ago. All my attempts at Ash Brown were futile ....

The hair color looks really nice, as others have mentioned, it doesn't wash you out as much. And the outfit in #2 is smashing on you. The rich color of the boots really adds a lot, and the color near your face looks so flattering. Well done. I think you are really on your way to a New You.

Sheila, I agree that the dark jeans are wrong. I have been toying around with bleaching some of my jeans and dying them a light grey. Fortunately in my work, I can wear jeans if I want much of the time. I am in agreement with you about the hair. We will keep working at it until we get it right.

So much change so quickly can be daunting, but having YLF has been a great support!

Lol, I always equate colors first with food too! And interesting to hear that your color analysis allowed you to as much eliminate what didn't as find what did in determining your season. More to ponder! And I can't wait to see the continuation of your journey...all of your time and study is paying great dividends!

Staysfit, you look great! We're all so excited for you on this new stage of your journey!

Christine Scaman was mentioned above, but in case you're not familiar with her site, here's a link: http://www.12blueprints.com/li.....-not-pale/ Her descriptions can be fanciful and not for everyone (though how can you complain about being compared to a rainbow?), but her visuals are usually great. Scroll down to see her color equations--color combos for making outfits.

Also, about the hair being too dark or too warm (or both): it will probably take a few tries to get just right, especially as even short hair needs a few cycles to grow out. Don't expect to get everything perfect all at once--you'll go crazy or bankrupt, possibly both!

Thanks Sheila and Anne likes Red! I started to look at the Christine Scaman website. It's a lot to take in!

Sheila, I agree that it will take a few cycles to get my hair color correct. It will be fun to see what happens.

Have been meaning to chime in to say WOO HOO!
