I'm back from my trip, and my new cat, who I named Moth, arrived yesterday evening. We've been having a grand time getting to know each other, and Thistle will join the mix tomorrow evening (since my friends were pet sitting her during my trip anyway, I thought a couple days of one on one bonding with Moth would be nice). I couldn't be more pleased: by this morning she'd already come into my lap and purr away! She's very fun to play with too, and already has good manners, so I don't need to worry about her getting up to trouble. It's so fun having a cat around, as she's so different from my dog! Like having my very own mini nature channel.
