Yeah, I can't believe the fuzzy fun all collected in one post! Fur babies! Love 'em.

I love the dress. I don't think there is anything frumpy about it. Once you get heels on, it will look fantastic. They'll make your legs even longer and flex your calves. You'll look even more gorgeous than you already are. Definite keeper! (Anxiously waiting for mine to arrive!)

Denise, good point about the dress. I think I could de-black it with accessories, but I want the length to be right.

The kitties are sisters (8 months old!) descended from feral cats in the port of Dutch Harbor here - they are basically Maine Coons that have run wild and keep the rat population down. They look like small lynx with crazy lemur tails.

Love it all - dress, tunic, necklace and multiple fur babies. What sort of dog is Kona? He/she ? Looks almost dingo like.

The dress should be fine with heels. Doesn't read as too much black to me, especially with exposed arms/legs and the daintier styled pumps you'd be wearing with it (+the motion of the fringe, of course). I like the longer length especially as the fringe moves. Citron tunic is AMAZING!! Wow.

Kittens have gotten so big! And so adorably fluffy! The orange/red bag in that photo reminds me of my beloved Kate Spade bag that was stolen *sniffle* The second photo of Kona+kitten is way too cute. What a good sport Kona is

I love the dress on you! It fits perfectly and showcases your gorgeous shoulders and arms! The citron tunic and leggings are perfect and lovely, but I think I've gone back to that pic of you in the dress three times!

I was going to ask if your cats are Maine Coons...they are supposed to be great cats...and huge! They are gorgeous!

Such different looks, and both wonderful. Love the flapper style of the dress...all you need is a cloche hat.

We're snow twins right now!! And those cats are gorgeous...such thick fluffy tails!! Poor Kona!

OMG! Ihavethisdress!!! And - I LOVE IT! You are so right - it its the perfect cut for an IT - it somehow manages to create the illusion of narrower shoulders while at the same time putting the emphasis on one or two of our best body parts - shoulders and arms. Inspite of that, I do still feel like a linebacker - but sister, there ain't no piece of clothing out there that's going to make our shoulders and arms look dainty and small. Just a fact of life.
So, I've worn this dress twice in the past 7 or 8 days - both times dressed down - once with sneakers and a long scarf - and once with a long shirt-tailed flannel shirt and black ankle booties. Both times I felt fab - and got lots of compliments! Next time I wear it will be to a Christmas party for our local animal rescue foundation - I'll probably wear some type of dressy heel with it and some blingy jewelry. Later in December I'm also planning to wear it to a friends b-day party and I'm thinking that I'm going to try the Spanx faux leather leggings with it.
Obviously, I think it's a keeper. It looks great on you - you just need to play with the styling and come up with some renditions that feel like you!

Also - we currently have 2 cats who's mom was a Highland Lynx - and their markings are similar to your babies. They have the huge fluffy tails - Lulu's is 18" long - and you can tell that they are not too many generations removed from being "wild-cat" status. They climb, they hunt - anything with fur on it really gets them going (and I'm talking about fake fur) - they howl and growl and carry it around the condo - things like mittens with fur lining. A jacket with a fur hood. An old furry scarf that I used to wear. They love that kind of stuff! They also can jump straight up into the air and land on the top of a door that is standing open and then balance themselves on top of the door. They are crazy funny - and so loving and sweet. We had fostered them, along with their 5 siblings and their momma (yes there were 7 kittens in her litter!) - and decided we just had to keep a couple of them because we couldn't stand to give them all up! (First time - well, actually, 2nd time, we've "failed" at fostering and ended up keeping foster kitten(s). Hey - it happens!

Marley, agree with you - I think as an IT we learn to spot "our" items and run with them, dresses being especially hard for me.  And your outfit ideas sound amazing!  How long is the dress on you?  Any chance of pics?

I am pretty sure the kittens are some kind of Maine Coon mix, but OMG, I looked up the Highland Lynx - SO ADORABLE!  Our two have very different personalities.  Hoku is more affectionate and social.  She plays soccer with anything on the floor.  Lani is more of a wary wild thing, but she loves to play in water and drink from the sink, and she will carry toys around in her mouth all day.  Both of them adore the dog and follow her around.  They are so much fun to watch. They have tufted ears and paws.   I want to see pictures of your kitties AND your dress!  My son would be in heaven if we fostered cats - but we would end up keeping them all.

I may have posted this before but it's my fave!
