Hi all - below are my final NAS purchases, all from Angie's top picks. Just waiting on a few cardis to arrive.

Picture #1 - what I wore today - 3 Angie NAS picks: Halogen kick crops, Halogen layered blouse, AGL studded flats.

Picture #2 - Halogen baroque sweatshirt. I think I love this. Feels like a sweatshirt but looks like a sweater. Totally work appropriate. Likely keeping unless the group thinks it looks off.

Picture #3 - Tahari quilted coat... Don't think I love it. Think it looks boxy on me... honest opinions welcome.

My dear, Marianna. How can the tailored coat feel boxy - too big? Not used to the quilted texture? Your statuesque height has completely offset the challenges that other apple shaped body types have had fitting that coat. AMAZING. I love the coat on you too.

And you are soooo pretty.

I love outfits #1 and #2, and I do not think the coat looks boxy at all. It's a quilted winter coat, so it's not going to look maximally sleek but it has a very nice shape!

I'm not sure why I feel the coat looks boxy on me - can't explain it. Maybe it's the double layer over my midsection. I usually wear single breasted coats so this feels bulkier somehow. More fabric...

I wonder if you could size down in the coat. It's definitely one thousand times better on you than it was on me, but I wonder if it would be more shapely a size down?

#1 is very sleek looking! There is something I love about the sweatshirt too- I hope I can find it in store to assess (worried that the pattern might be too much for my frame)--but gosh it looks awesome on you! I also bought those AGLs- gray- really comfortable. I do like the coat and navy is great on you but if you don't love return it and something else will come along.

I love, love, love, love beyond love outfit #1 on you. What fabulous transitional pieces to take you well into autumn. You are so sophisticated in the black with blue.

You convinced me to purchase that sweatshirt, which I had been debating about. It looks amazing on you in this colourway, and don't you think it will be nice with grey hair, too? (I think our colouring might be rather similar even though I am decades older than you. Or rather, I'm the "decades older than you" version of your colouring. I may be mistaken because it's all online -- Angie has met us so she'd know better.)

And -- well -- I can't do more than say I absolutely love the quilted coat on you. But if it does not make your heart sing, then...well...you know.

To me, it looks like an incredibly useful and versatile style. If I lived in a slightly more temperate climate, I'd have bought this coat in a hot second.

kikidee - awesome! Hope you post pics. The flats run true to size/on the smaller side. They don't run big.

Traci, thanks. Sizing down is not an option as I'd like to be able to layer... and I like my coats to fit on the roomy side. Just not sure I love this style...

Muffin, thanks! Hope you get the sweatshirt. The other color-way might be more subtle.

Suz - LOL... you make me laugh. Yes I do think our colorings are similar and YES the sweatshirt will look great with your hair. I think the neckline will really suit you, too. Can't wait to see it on you; I know it will look killer! Regarding the coat, you make a good point about climate. I'm in Chicagoland so my climate is similar to yours... so I wear HEAVY coats much more often. The quilted coat would be for our short fall. I don't know... so far it doesn't make my heart sing and that's probably what matters most. Maybe I should try styling it with winter clothes (jeans, boots, etc) before I decide.

I did wonder when I saw it if it would layer well. If so, it might be a really useful item. I can't remember if it is rain resistant. If it is, I could see using it here well into December, and then starting again in March. I think our climate is quite similar although your fall is a bit later and longer and your spring a bit earlier and longer as well. And then you have even more extremes of snow and heat, I suspect. (For us, it all depends...we're not in the real snow belt like Staysfit because it all dumps on that side of the lake.)

Suz, interesting points, I just wonder how warm it would be, even with layers. It's thick but not sure about warmth. By December I'm usually in a puffer. I could see myself wearing this coat October-November and then March-April, and maybe on some "warm" winter days. But it's all a moot point if I don't like how I look in the coat, right? I really need to play with it a bit more before I decide. It's just SO hard to try on a coat right now as it's currently VERY warm here.

I love your NAS outfit! Really fab! The top was made for you. That sweatshirt, it's so elegant looking it's hard to believe it's a sweatshirt, looks amazing on you. Great picks.

But the coat, I'm sad that you aren't loving it. I think it looks great on you and the color makes you glow. Regardless you have to feel it or back it goes. Are you keeping the Pendleton?

I know!! In my experience I get my NAS items always on the hottest days of our year! Today the humidity was so extreme. No way would I have put on a cashmere sweater.

Wow, everything here is stunning on you both for color and fit. I especially like those flared cropped pants on you, they are at the perfect length on your leg. And that blue color for the top in #1 and that coat, is gorgeous on you. Nice finds here!

Well, you already know that I really love the coat on you, Marianna, but it is fabulous you who has to feel good in it...

All your other purchases are excellent too. The cropped trousers look divine on you, and after seeing how gorgeous the colour blocked top looks on you I'm even more excited to get mine soon;-) The baroque sweatshirt is just divine on you, such a flattering neckline, and the entire outfit looks so sassy and elegant.

So I love you in the first one - the colours work so beautifully with your colouring, and you look so sleek and sophisticated!

#2 is really nice, but the busy pattern combined with the slightly boxy shape is not quite as flattering, in my opinion, in that it doesn't give you as much definition. But it still looks beautful to my eye - and I do love that it's a sweatshirt!

#3 - I think the coat fits you properly, but it's a function of the quilting. i too stay away from quilting because it makes me look bigger (but I am petite and can get quickly get overwhelmed by too much fabric.) I do think it works on you because you are so statuesque!
