Target help - anyone seen this sweater dress in person?

I'm wondering if the color seems accurate, how the sizing runs, and how it feels. Not too much to ask, right? LOL! I am an hour from the nearest Target, and car less so that means online only for me right now. sigh. http://www.target.com/p/Merona.....ticipation

Mo, I was there yesterday and I think that green does have blue in it. I would call it spruce as opposed to a pine green (I'm using Crayola colors, here!). Is that color bad on you? The green shirt you had on yesterday has more yellow in it than this (and that's the green I can't wear)

I tried on a similar sweater dress and the waist hit me too high and it was too short but it might work for you.

Thanks Claire. I have a high waist so this is actually good news. Not sure on the color. I never gave too much thought to color theory lol. But here are some greens I wear.

Some people can wear all kinds of greens, and you may be one of those people! You look good in all of these; I have only a few I feel fab in.

I saw this dress last week at Target but don't remember a green. I was thinking of using it as a tunic but the fabric seemed thin and the cowl part kind of overwhelming and cheap looking...for what it's worth. Nordies has spoiled me.

Thanks Joy for the honest assessment. I'd rather pay twice as much for a great thick knit. I hate not being able to touch the fabric!

finally back from my quick trip to the mall... ran into a friend and spent an hour and a half enjoying lunch. Oh the life of a MOTG
Anyhoo.... found the dress at Target and I must say found the quality better than I expected. Not Nordstrom quality mind you, but the fabric did feel nice and the shape of the dress was good. I only saw a camel and grey...so can't comment on the green color. From just looking at it the sizing seemed TTS. I probably would have worn a medium. The band placement of the waist didn't seem too high either.
If you're looking for a one season wonder in a sweater dress,this would probably fit the bill. if you're looking for longevity, I would keep looking.

Malina, it doesn't look like they have a site to order online, but Burlington Coat Factory has a nice selection of sweater dresses in neutrals and colors for under $30, including Calvin Klein. I saw some in red that I want to try as a tunic that were about $25. If you have one in the area, you might take a look. This is not a place I usually shop but happened to see one on display that I paid over twice as much for at a different store.
