I had the most wonderful morning and early afternoon today with Suz! In Tel Aviv! Pinch myself!

I met her at the Canadian embassy (yay she got her passport!). I immediately saw why Angie described her as vibrant. She is just as gorgeous as she looks in her pictures with extra glow and warmth. And, by the way, her white jeans looked pristine.

We drove the the Tel Aviv Port, chatting all the way and then I took her for a long walk down Dizengoff, which is a main Tel Aviv street and the home to a large number of shops. I had intended to take her to a particular shoe shop, but she found an even better one (after I made her walk up and down the street several times - I can't seem to shop and talk at the same time).

We then walked back to the port and continued our conversation while looking out at the Mediterranean Sea. I was so glad it was a sunny day.
By then it was time for some coffee and food. We ate outside at a cafe at the port, everyone else was inside because it was too cold (maybe 70F/20C). Suz found that hysterical!

We then continued our tour of the port including an indoor market with fruit and vegetables and other stands.
Eventually I had to let her go back to Jerusalem, alas. I will leave it to her to tell you what is in the yellow bag ;-)!
