I went to BR recently to check out the ivory pinstripe jacket because I thought it might be skewed to a cooler off-white, light-neutral aspect of my color palette.
That jacket did not work for me at all but I saw the blazer below. I had seen it online and from the photo had just ruled it out--I thought it was maybe too "cream", it looked like it would run short and boxy, and usually I don't do double-breasted and if I do it's usually still to wear unbuttoned (which I did recently with a WHBM jacket)

Well, not sure how they fitted the model, but IRL it is slightly fitted through the waist area and has a double back vent and a bit of flare that I think works very well for hip room and I think it looks somewhat more feminine or lady-like,which I have noticed I prefer in jackets if it can be subtle and not overly so.

On me it runs longer than pictured and so is perfect with pants. I almost was worried I should size down for snugger fit through the shoulder but then it would be difficult to ever button if I wanted to, and also might be too snug in armholes and shoulder to go over all but things like shells and tanks, and I wanted to be able to "toss it on" over sleeves as well and not feel squished, so I got my usual BR size and accepted some ease in the fit, but if you are less pearish or like a very neat snug fit, this jacket seems to run just a bit bigger than some BR styles.

I love bracelet and 3/4 sleeves, but try to avoid them in jackets unless it's clearly for summer, because I need the warmth of long sleeves in real jacket weather plus I need to be able to wear over a long sleeve and have jackets that would work for more formal business situations, so I need versatility. But for a white summer jacket it is fine and I don't have to roll the sleeves.
