I was the same - thought I'd totally bounce back fast! I guess I had after a caesarean section. But it does take time - it's one of the most major surgeries you can have, so take care of yourself and don't rush it.

My healing is going well, thanks for asking! The bruising took a couple of weeks to go away. There is still swelling, but a little less every day. It's a process, this healing, and can't be rushed, so do be patient and gentle with yourself during this time. Pampering is the order of the day!

Thanks, rachylou! I'm coming along. Mine wasn't medically necessary like Una's, but rather cosmetic (face overhaul). Ah vanity, thy name is woman... (but I saw quite a few men in that office, too!)
