Summer scents - what are you liking?

Since there seems to be a change in the air towards summer lately (maybe except for Pacific NW but I know it will happen!) I am wondering if anyone is changing their fragrance wearing habit or choices?

When it is warm, I really like a light scent or citrus scent even more than others.
My favorites are: Jo Malone Lime Basil and Mandarin and Kiehls Cucumber.

Maybe when it is warm you prefer no scent at all?

Ok I have been liking this scent from United Colors of Benetton and JLo. The first one is so citrusy fresh and JLo smells really nice.
For body spray, my all time fav. are Dove and Nike Fusion.

I'm wearing Chanel No. 19 and Tocca Bianca. They are nice in colder weather, but really shine in heat and humidity. It's hard to find fragrances I like that aren't overpowering when it gets hot. But that's probably because I tend to prefer heavy florals and orientals.

I also wear the same scent year round: CK One by Calvin Klein (*waving to Louise*).
I would love to find a perfume that really smells of the ocean (and/or clean air/ a seabreeze), but I just can't seem to find the right one.

I like Balcienaga (the original) in the summer. Or Creed Zeste Pamplemousse.

My summer scent is (mostly) acqua di parma mandorlo di sicilia. To me, it smells like cream soda. Kind of like a trip to the soda/ice cream shop while on vacation.

I also like my exotic coconut body spray from BBW... not everyone's cuppa, but the very subtle coconut scent takes me on a secret beach vacation when the work day starts to slog.

I just love hearing about the scents people wear - I have an ocean scent from Tokyo Milk called Sea and Sky that is very fresh and mineral-ly. But although I collect Tokyo Milk (they just seemed to have multiplied) the scents do not last long on the skin.

It is also interesting how many ladies wear a signature scent year round - nice to have that too.

Like Mo, I love citrus all year. It just smells so clean and sparkly!

I'm out of O de Lancome but I love that one too. My French piano teacher was SO SO SO glamorous and that was her signature scent.

Thank you, Sheila, for telling us about Lemon Verbena... that sounds absolutely perfect for summer!

By the way--my teenaged daughter wears Justin Bieber's perfume and I have to say... I like it too. I would wear it if she didn't. Just a thought (or a suggestion if a teenager you know has a birthday coming up!).
