Where I live, it's shorts weather for two months every year. This year has been particularly warm, so I've literally worn nothing BUT shorts (or light cotton skirts) for the entire summer. Putting on anything that didn't expose my legs (and arms) was a non-option. But because it's a relatively short season, my summer capsule is small; I wear the same things over and over. Now the smell of fall is in the air, and I am SO DONE with shorts and breezy sleeveless tanks. I feel like I never want to see summer clothes again! It occurs to me that this is exactly how I felt toward the end of each pregnancy. At the start, I built a small pregnancy capsule and had fun wearing everything. It was novel. But toward the end, I was so sick of it that I was ready to burn every piece. I wanted to get back to my "regular" wardrobe.

Bring on the fall! I'm all set to get back to my regularly scheduled program. Bye bye summer.
