Style exchange: are people still checking this?

It seems like prior to the site re-design there was much more activity on the style exchange part of the forum. (This may just be my perception.) I'm wondering if it makes sense to post items there anymore? Are you looking there to see what's for sale, or not?

I'm going to sell/consign my purple JCrew coat, and I'd like to start here but not if no one's checking out SE. (I'm impatient.)

I look from time to time and will offer a few items...I was going to offer up a few things in the spring but ended up gifting them to my stepdaughter. I may have a thing or two this autumn. For me it's a bit tricky since sending to the US can be pricey so people might not want to pay the postage.

(Heads up, Eileen Fisher fans!), so I was curious too. Sometimes it seems that not many people here are the same size as me.

And I have bought couple of things in last one year but sizing is definitely a factor.
Last year I bought couple really beautiful cocoon style sweaters from QVC but they turned out be to Too big for me. they are size M and S but probably for a plus size because they are HUGE on me and was thinking about selling them here And I have never seen any plus size item being sold. I am intrigued too if people actually are using this feature. Because I definitely am.

Also I don't think my size would be interested in your coat ( purple coat sounds beautiful) but if you post it I will definitely comment and make it known that I was there

Angie, this coat didn't work the way I had hoped it would last year (as a travel coat) and I hardly wore it at all in my non-travel life. I'm not very comfortable having things just sit unworn in my closet when I am not convinced I will reach for them. I think it's the severe shape with the strong color; both together are too much for me. It fits well and looks good but doesn't feel right. It will be better on someone else.

Got it. Sometimes, we can only tell if something will REALLY work after we put it through its paces. Rotten luck. Lesson learned. Onto the next fab coat.

I check it periodically (usually browse with a tablet and it's at the bottom of the main page if you're logged in) and bought a pair of sandals earlier this year, but there aren't many items posted in my size.

I only remember to check it occasionally also. But since you brought it up, I've been considering posting some amazing colorful mary janes that turned out to be a half size bigger than they were listed as.

Anyone want to see some maximal patterned block heel mary janes made in Spain in size 37? Pretty much new, worn once (that's when I realized, too late, that they weren't the size I thought they were).

I have a different colorway of these shoes in the correct size 36 that I do wear (I could post a WIW). So sad that I can't get the other ones in my size!

I actually have few brand new things in mind to sell but I was also noticing that in last few months style exchange is much quieter than usual. I was glad that you raised the questions.

I always check SE. Unfortunately the postage is a problem. But if the right item came up I would go for it. I was tempted by Janet's EF jacket. I still am.

Size 37 shoes??? Please post!

I generally scroll down to SE but never see my size (P2/4). The NYDJ jeans offered are likely a size too big since I usually take a 0 in that brand's inflated sizing.

I often forget about both Style Exchange and Off Topic because they are off to the side in small print. I think if they had more prominence at the top of the page I'd check them more often.

DonnaF, yep -- know what ya mean, fellow size 2P here (and a 0 in NYDJ because yes, we know how those are). OK, I'll do some posting in the week ahead since I should have time then to get the pictures and such together.

I always look, but for me it's usually a size thing. I am always between two sizes so I hesitate to buy something I can't return.
