I just ordered some new shoes. They are comfortable and cute, but I was dismayed to find they squeak. This doesn't seem acceptable to me. Is there anything to be done but return them? It's the leather that goes over the toe which rubs and makes noise. I've been stuck with shoes that make noise before (other than hitting the ground) because I didn't realize it until it was too late.
