Spring Trend Reports

I saw this on style.com today, and I thought it was kind of interesting.

Looks like there are some overlaps from Angie's list, such as the 80's trend (in this report it's listed as "trash and vaudeville") and some of the colors.

I love the look of the "geometry lessons" trend. that yellow skirt looks fun, though a bit impractical (hey! it is the runway!).

any thoughts?

Fun!

We’ll see how many of these trends make it down to wearable fashion. I LOVED that part when I was a buyer.

As you probably could have guessed, the “sporting goods” trend leaves me cold. Unfortunately, Seattle is WAY ahead of couture with that one.

The Sporting Goods Trend just looks like gym wear to me. And, while I sometimes like 30s inspired looks (Marc Jacobs new collection is at least interesting and fun, if not very wearable), I think calling it "Depression Chic" is kind of tasteless.

But, I do like the Geometry Lessons looks, and the name too. :)

I would wear that black and white polka dot Christian Lacroix dress in Geometry Lessons!
