Some footwear finds and a question

Hi ladies,

Just wanted to share a few footwear finds with you. Sorry no pics yet of them on my feet.

I picked up these Munro slingback booties in black and am curious to hear what you think. I just now realized that they also come in stone and I am thinking that perhaps the lighter color might be more versatile for summer. Thoughts? Black or stone?
They are made out of a suede-like material and unbelievably comfortable. They also have an adjustable Velcro strap for my narrow heels.
Can you tell I'm trying to justify the price?

I also bought these Rockport sneakers. Definitely keeping! A lightweight mesh and comfortable on my fussy feet. I think they'll be great for walking in NYC, and light enough to carry in a tote if I want to switch out shoes.

ETA: Dianne mentioned that she has the Munro's in gray. I'm adding that color (pic 4) for your consideration.

Oh, Deb! I had been looking at those Munros, also. They look terrific. I ended up buying the Vince Camuto Eliana Caged sandal instead. It has a slightly higher heel but got such great reviews I thought it was worth a try, and I think it will work for me. But I still love the Munros as well and remain tempted by them. It's tough to say which colour would be best for you; with your dark hair black might work fine. But for myself I'd go for the stone or the magenta colour. (Sort of like fuchsia, she said, with a chuckle...)

The sneakers look fab also -- nice and lightweight.

Oh, I wish I hadn't seen those Munros. Could you get both colors?
I'd get both and play at making outfits to decide which would work best. The tan color may or may not work well as a nude for you.

Hi Deb- I just bought these sandals in the dark grey and I love them! They are super comfortable and great for travel. I wore them with jeans, skirts and casual dresses while I was in Florida last month but,alas, I am back in Southern Ontario so it may be a few weeks before I can wear them again.

Suz, I love the Vince Camuto booties! I wish I could handle the higher heels. They are gorgeous. I can just picture you in the magenta Munro's - they have your name written all over them.
