I was very happy with my Sam Edelman Petty booties in black suede and wide width until I stepped on a recently cleaned floor and it felt like an ice skating rink! The soles are synthetic and I had to take them to the cobler to get rubber soles on which raised the total cost of the shoes by a considerable amount.
Initially I liked the shoes so much that I duplicated them in dark brown, those are unused and are going back unless I find a really cheap cobbler or unless I can talk the store manager into fixing them for me... I doubt that but I will give it a try nevertheless.
So, for all of you ladies with the pretty Sam Edelman Petty booties, thread with care when you find yourselves on wet floors. Or add rubber soles, like I did.
