I couldn't help but think of Lisap!

I spotted this at the Rack while I'm here getting some new gear-lite walking shoes. It's tempting to think it could work with legging-like skinnies, but I'm worried it would just cling to the fabric of the skinnies. I know I don't have the legs to pull this off as a dress, unless I wear opaque tights with it. Although patterned (tone-on-tone) tights (which I do own and they have been neglected the last few years) and booties could work, maybe?

Or maybe I'm just in love with the softness of the cashmere and the top half of it. kinda wishing I could just cut it off to a sweater length... There is a little embroidered skull on the back right at the neckline, which is about as much skull as I like.

Adding a pic from more of a distance to the mirror. The closeness of the mirror in the little fitting rooms creates too much illusion that I'm smaller in the bottom half than I actually am.

Brutal honesty welcome.

Also, you can wear a slip under tops/dresses like these if they cling to leggings/tights.

I love it! Amazing on you.
And it looks great with bare legs, although that might be seasonally confused. But you certainly don't need leggings with it.

I love it on you, Janet. Those sleeves are so neat! I can see it with tights and tall boots, or leggings and booties. It could also go with skinnies. My hesitation with that idea is whether it fits too closely at the middle to be comfortable with a fly-front. I've had some knit tunics & dresses that I didn't like with jeans for that reason, though they were fine with leggings.

Thanks, all! It's in my bag, along with some new comfy walking shoes, which I will be smart and wear instead of my poor Brooks sneakers next time I go on a remotely rugged adventure.

An aside. The Brooks are at home drying after I have attempted to clean them of the salt water stains they acquired out in WA. Funny enough, I saw these very same shoes at the Rack, now discounted, but not in my size. I love them so much, if almost be tempted to buy a new pair, but let's see if my cleaning does the trick first.

Ok, so now I'm at Nordstrom to make a couple of NAS returns (the colorblock sweater and the larger of the two Free People sweaters), and I'm trying on the Spanx faux leather leggings that many of you have raved about. I actually like them, and I almost never like leggings on me... (Obviously not styled - this is the top and sandals I am wearing today!) I could see these leggings with the dress/tunic. I like the subtle sheen in the leggings, even though it's not apparent in my photo.

Yes. It's Skull Cashmere! I love finding this brand at the Rack! And yes to the leggings - I have those and adore them.

Also don't talk trash about your legs! I don't get the difference between "good" legs and "bad" legs at all. Hair, yes. Legs, no.

You don't have the legs ... what are you talking about?! I like it the way it is: worn as a dress, bare legs, sandals with cuts that complement the cuts in the sleeves. Absolutely perfect.
