Skinnies and jacket opinion

These are my first skinnies and I'd love your feedback. Same with this jacket. I wasn't intending to buy another winter jacket but DH and I walked into a Benetton and we both loved the look. However, I'm not so sure since it's light brown (see paired up with red scarf to offset the color). Keep or lose?

Sihaya, I think you can do better for the jacket. The red scarf added so much to it, I'd hate to have to pair a jacket with something else everytime I wore it. It's a very nice style, though.

I like the skinnies on you! I liked the look of the outfit with the jacket over your skinnies. You have so much personality in your other outfits you posted. I don't think the color of this jacket does you justice.

You look great in skinnies. Good investment.
I'm unsure about the style of the jacket. I like the fabric alot. I'm unsure about the dropped shoulders and the sleeves. It seems difficult to wear. It is unusual which makes me take a secnd look.

Skinnies look fab! What brand are they?

Is that a beige jacket Sihaya? Wow! That’s so unlike you! My screen might be off on the colour, so I’m just making sure. You mentioned it was light brown?

I love everything about the jacket accept the sleeves. I understand why you and hubby were drawn to the dramatic style – it’s beautiful. I feel there’s too much volume in the sleeve for petite little you. I love the dropped sleeve detail and you pull that part off well. If the sleeves were less voluminous and the colour was cream, I’d give you a 10 on that cropped coat. What do you think?

Hmmm I'm odd man out here. I love the jacket...I think the drama of the jacket stands alone--and the color is appopriate. If it was jade and that dramatic, it might be too much. I typically don't like that full a sleeve, but with the skinny jeans, I think it works very well. And I personally prefer the jacket w/out the scarf.

Angie - unfortunately they only have it in this color of course. It's hard to tell the difference between beige and light brown for me. I looked up the definition of beige and it says a combination of light brown and grey. This is a herringbone jacket and I guess the background would be closer to beige and the herringbone is light brown?

Oh, the skinnies are express. It's their high rise style. I tried the low and mid rises and they definitely didn't work. Sadly they had neither white nor black in the high rise.
